5 Products Focus with Dear Lizzy Serendipity

Hi. It is Ifa with you today. How was your Christmas ? Mine was just too full of food…
This month’s post is inspired by these large leatherette bows and hearts from Dear Lizzy Serendipity range from American Crafts. Naturally I bought a few other items from the range. I haven’t bought any stamps for a while so couldn’t resist a set. But my fifth item sneaked in from Crate Paper Note and Things as the colour ways echo the black and pink of the bows. I surprised myself by picking up quite a few packs of large embellishments.

How serendipitous…another stamp set

Dear Lizzy Serendipity Gold Alpha
I love these gold letters even though they turn out to be more bronze than gold.

Crate Paper Note and Thing Chipboard
Oh so very lovely chipboards from Crate Note and Thing

I made two layouts with these products. I was really drawn to the pink and black combo as you can see in the next photo, three such clusters create a triangle under my photo. I wasn’t too particular about the pink items being pink either because I did sneak in some reds as well.

I also used a little bit of glitter glue to add some sparkle to my layouts. Can you spot it ?
Glittered leaves
I stamped, coloured and glittered the leaves

glittered circles
I hand drew a circle and added glitter glue.It became a nice base for the large pink bow.

Here are the two layouts in full. Our family photo was a bit blur due to poor lighting and everyone not being particularly still. I fell off the chair as the self timer went off. But it was a fun photo with everyone in it so I scrapped it regardless. It is not often that I have two boys happily contribute to a family photo.

The next layout is about a birthday weekend I spent in London. We went to see Evita and did loads of random things like just walking around Bloomsbury where we spotted a Dalek in an office window. I couldn’t resist a photo.

That’s all from me this time. See you in the New Year. Have a good one.
