A bit of Glitz!

Hello all, it’s my turn on the blog again and this month I chose to use the Finnley collection by Glitz. I was drawn to the colours and designs when I saw them online, but it wasn’t until they arrived that it actually dawned on me that it was a baby collection! So I have 3 none baby LOs to share with you using baby themed papers!

This first LO is of Drew with his Buzz Lightyear toy. Drew has been obsessed with Buzz Lightyear since our friend dressed up as him at a family disco. All he wanted for Christmas was his very own Buzz Lightyear, so he was over the moon when he opened him on Christmas morning. Our house is now filled with the sound of the ‘real’ laser, and squeals of ‘to infinity and beyond’.

I used scraps of paper to echo the circular shape of Buzz’s visor, and created a wing embellishment too. A scattering of tiny stars were added with some hand drawn arrows to complete the LO.

The next LO is of Harry’s awesome birthday cake, created by E.T. Cakes (follow on Facebook). I used the papers with he triangles on and added circle shaped accents to link with the monster eyes and teeth.

My last LO is dedicated to my wonderful friend and fellow DT member Jen!
Lianne took theses photos of us during a scrappy day at my house. I added little details to the LO that I knew Jen would just love. She has issues about using embellishments and stamps that have nothing to do with the photos… She particularly loves hot air balloons!

I hope I’ve shown you that this collection is versatile and not just restricted to baby LOs.
