A couple of clean & simple layouts!

Holy wow Magpies, can you believe it’s December? I am floored it’s here already. I don’t even know what happened to this year! It’s Rachel here with you today and I only have 2 layouts to offer you this month. I am still in New Zealand while I’m typing this but I will be just back in the UK by the time it posts. I totally lost my mojo in November and the best I could do was shuffle papers around whenever I tried to create something and then I came down with a horrible cold, just as the summer started to arrive in Auckland – talk about miserable! So there’s only two layouts this month, I do apologise.
These layouts, as always from me, are clean and simple, graphic designs. I like to try and make layouts for the blog that are easy for people to scraplift, these 2 couldn’t be simpler. This first one uses the Illustrated Faith, Bright & Brave collection. I cut a strip of my favourite black & white striped Bible Journalling paper for the bottom, and then used strips from the Borders paper to go above. So it’s super simple, a rectangle of one paper and some strips above. My title is using some older Thickers and also Amy Tangerine, Oh Happy Life Phrase Thickers for the ;fantastic’. Then I’ve used some various Tabbies and done my journalling on some strips. I’ve also used one of the IF Enamel Hearts as the dot on my ‘i’ of the title.
Check out the whole Illustrated Faith range, there’s some awesome colours in all the collections and they’re so bright and fresh! I will be using the amazing You Are Loved collection for my January first post and I can’t wait to get back to the UK and open that box of lushie-lushness!

This next layout uses the Crate Paper, Cute Girl collection. I LOVE this collection, it’s not just for little girls that’s for sure. As soon as I saw the cats in this collection, I had to get some and do a LO of my cat! This LO below uses papers from the 6×6 Paper Pad and I cut them all into squares. Then I placed them in a loose grid, for once I didn’t get all OCD and perfectionist about the positioning lol! I struggled to photograph this LO well but the colours of this whole collection are really pretty and lush. My title uses various Thickers and some of the Cute Girl Puffy Accent Thickers. The cat stickers are also from the Puffy Accent Thickers pack, as well as the clouds. Then I used a couple of the stickers from the 6×12″ Foiled Accent Stickers and some old phot turns I have here in NZ. That was enough and I was done!

I feel a bit useless this month only managing two layouts I’m sorry. I am sure I will make up for it when I open my box of You Are Loved goodies! I can’t wait to dig into that lot, I’ve ordered pretty much all of it and I’m excited! Now I have to get myself back to the UK and find my mojo again! See you next year Magpies, have a great Christmas and New Years!
Check out the Illustrated Faith, Bright & Brave collection and Crate Paper’s, Cute Girl collection to get any of the items I’ve used here.
