A Mix of Collections using Sketches

Hi Magpies, Jackie here, hope you are all now back into the swing of things and getting some time to scrap.  I was struggling this month with what to do, and my mojo had taken a holiday, I’d looked on Pintrest, blogs, IG and nothing was helping the flow, so I decided to try using sketches as my starting point.
So I started by printing several from PageMaps and started with these.
Friends

For this layout I used the lovely collection by  Crate Paper – Good Vibes.  The background paper is Crate Paper – Good Vibes – Flouish.  The pink spotted paper is from Shimelle/Glitter Girl  – For the Win.  I also used a few sheets from the Crate paper – Good Vibes 6×6 pad under my photographs.
I printed these fun snapchat ones together on a 6×4 photographs, but kept to the same placement as the sketch.
For the title I used the Arcylic word from Elle’s Studio – Arcylic Shape

Adding a Hey Little Magpie Flair badge,

and stamped a few phases using the Crate Paper Good Vibes – Stamps

Both Sam & Julie use random things on their layouts so I felt that it was OK to use this random lama on mine, for no reason just use it – lol x It from Crate Paper – Good Vibes – Embossed Puffy Stickers.

Cheers

This is a 9×12 size layout, using some Shimelle/Glitter Girl and mainly Amy Tangerine Hustle & Heart collections.
I kept to the placement of the photographs and the layout came together quickly.  Embellishments are from Hustle & Heart with some  stickers from the Designers Sticker Books – Amy Tangerine & Shimelle.

Scrap the Boys

For this layout I used wonderful collection by Pink Paislee / Paige Taylor Evans – Turn the Page,
The background paper is No. 8 from this collection.  Each squares measures 2 inches.  These can be cut from the 6×6 pad as you get the smaller designs to work with.
To align this squares, I started at the bottom of the pages and worked upwards, then I drew pencil lines between the squares to form the grid, and machine stitched over the top the the lines in gold thread.
The two photographs are layered with die cuts from the Pink Paislee / PTE – Turn the Page Ephemera pack.
I added chipboard stars from the Pink Paislee/PTE Turn the Page – Chipboard sheet around the photographs and used stickers from the Pink Paislee/PTE Turn the Page – Sticker Book on some of the squares.

For my title I used Pink Paislee/PTE Turn the Page – Chipboard Thickers and the mini alphabets from the Sticker book.
To add some more texture I used some wood veneer phases from Elle’s Studio – Title Builder Shapes.  On the back of the tag I’ve added some hidden journalling.

Hope you can get some inspiration from these or even the sketches I’ve used.
Happy scrapping, till next time.
