A Mixture of Fancy Pants Designs

Hi there Magpies, Niki here with you today with a few layouts using three different collections by Fancy Pants Designs. I really enjoy working with Fancy Pants Designs collections as they are all really fun and easy to use without being too whimsicle. I find they fit with most of my everyday photos and I love the colour ranges.

First up is two layouts using ‘Joy Parade’. This is a birthday collection but it isn’t overly themed so I find I have been able to use it with non-party photos. My first layout ‘Pizza Party’ uses a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store to make the triangle background and I’ve then backed each triangle with different patterns from the Joy Parade 6×6 paper pad. I’ve embellished the triangles with enamel shapes from the April Freckled Fawn kit and other Freckled Fawn embellishments.

My second layout using Joy Parade uses one sheet of busy patterned paper from the Joy Parade collection, to back a large lightbulb (Just Nick). I’ve used the lightbulb also from the ephemera pack and used Paige Evans Oh My Heart thickers for the title. I stitched around the outside of the lightbult too.

Next I’m using the ‘Family & Co’ collection. This collection is based on all things homely and family, but again I have found it very versatile to work with. I only a had a few of the papers and the empemera and the chipboard stickers so had to made my supplies stretch. I cut the very large title using an open alphabet and backed this with one of the Family & Co papers. I embellished with the chipboard stickers and the ephemera.

I have another layout using the ‘Family & Co’ collection which you may recognise as I shared it a little while ago on the Hey Little Magpie Papercraft and and Scrapbooking Chat and Inspiration facebook group. I used a cut file by Just Nick to cut the circles, backed these with papers from the collection and arranged them onto my layout. I’ve embellished with ephemera and chipboard stickers.

And finally I’ve also used the ‘Sweet Nothings’ collection which is primarily a valentines collection or love. I realy enjoyed working with this collection, especially the pop of yellow that you wouldn’t usually see within a valentines collection.

For this layout I’ve used a cut file by Just Nick and then backed each opening with a pattern from the 6×6 paper pad. Ive embellished with the ephemera – a super quick and easy layout.

My final layout also uses the Sweet Nothings collecton by Fancy Pants Designs. Ive used another cut file by Just Nick to cut two rows of the XOXO outline and then backed each one with papers from the 6×6 paper pad. I’ve used loads of foam pads to get as much dimension on my layout as possible.
