Hi there x Sheena here again.
This month I decided to revisit a collection that I had worked with before & really enjoyed, C’est La Vie by Pink Paislee. The combination of pastels, brights, hints of gold plus loads of black and white suits all my scrapping needs.
This time I also got the C’est La Vie chipboard brick and gold alpha & I’ll certainly be getting another pack of these as they are just so versatile.
Love is in the Air.
Using C’est La Vie Paper 2 as my base I built up the layers using some of the pastel papers from this range plus a doily for a soft feel to match this wedding photo of my Brother & his bride. For the first time I’ve left the manufacturers strip on the bottom of the paper & shortened the top. I like the effect & will be doing it again me thinks.
Even thought my title is long because of the colour of the letters they don’t seem to weigh the design down. I added Nuvo Bright Gold crystal drops to a couple of wood veneer to tie in with the other touches of gold.
It was also my first time using the Hey Little Magpie foiled flairs which I will certainly need to stock up on.
For my next page I embraced one of the brights in this range. Using Ces’t la Vie Paper 6 as my base I added some bright yellow mist using the packaging technique. My paper didn’t lie flat so I adhered it to black cardstock to straighten it out before roughing up the edges.
The word – Hello is from the ephemera pack & made of acetate so to stop any adhesive showing I only adhered them to my page under the chipboard alphas or under the flowery pattern to hide the tape. The flowers were fussy cut from C’est La Vie Paper 3 and coloured with pro markers to co ordinate with the rest of the papers.
I used C’est La Vie jumble words and washi stickers to add sub text around the photos.lifted on foam for more dimension.
I really enjoyed creating with the C’est La Vie range by Pink Paislee again and would really recommend revisiting some of your favourites again x
