Colouring it up with Heidi Swapp

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 2 layouts using the lovely new collection from Heidi Swapp ‘ Color Fresh’ A beautiful collection full of pinks, lime green, turquoise, orange & black, a great colour combination & one to wash away the winter blues.
So Cute Together

On my first layout, I added a torn strip of ‘Paint the Town’ paper to a base of ‘ Oh Yeah’ paper & black cardstock on the left hand side. I then made up a border strip with scolloped pieces from ‘ Counting on You’ paper & ‘Bright & Bold’ paper & sewing that along with some pom poms, a zip, some inked gauze & some pleated felt.

I then added my photo cluster to the bottom right & another cluster to the top left edge, adding bits & pieces from the die cut ephemera pack. I finished the layout with some gold & black splatters & a title made using the chipboard alphabet thickers & the gold puffy word stickers.

My Girl

On my second layout I started with a piece of Vicki Boutin’s foundation mixed media paper & added some smooching & splattering of oxide inks. I then cut the chevron out from the ‘Bright & Bold’ paper & added it up the top with some pink crepe paper & yellow pom poms. I attached my photo cluster on the top of that & layered embellishments down the page from my photo, using the die cut ephemera pack & the Heidi Swapp Adventure Die Cut Ephemera & Good Stuff Puffy Stickers from the Journal Studio collections.

Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings today & I hope you have liked my layouts.
until next time
