Disney Time again …

Hi Jackie, here again with a few layouts from my Disneyland Paris visit last year.

As you would expect I have a million and one photographs that I need to scrap.  I had most of the photographs printed in the standard 6×4 and have added them to an album with a lot of the photographs being added to various sizes of pocket page protectors, and well as 12 x 12 sizes, with a few other sizes as well.

And I’ve chosen two collections that are so ‘Disney’ that I just had to get them and get some of these photographs scrapped.

For this post I’ve used Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 and Echo Park – Pirate Tales

Let the Adventure Begin – Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4

I started the page by cutting a few of the patterned papers into stripes and adding down one side of the page and added a border punched to one edge. Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – Make a Wish, Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – 4×4 element  and Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – Hooray! papers.

I added 3d foam to my photographs and mounted it on pattered paper from the 6×8 pad.  

To add added details I die cut some stars from some of the 6×8 pads, and added embellishments from Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – Die Cut pack, Chipboard, and stickers from the combo Sticker Sheet.

I started this page by distressing the cardstock using oxide inks and added stamp details using the Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – Magic Stamp set.

I cut various patterned papers to measure 1 inch in width, and then cut them at various lengths, and on two of them I added a black border line around the edge of two and border punched one strip, finally adding some machine stitching over the top.

Before I added my photograph to the page, I used one of the lovely stamp set with this collection, Simple Stories – Say Cheese 4 – Magic stamp set and stamped over the background.

I added some 3d foam under my photograph, and using patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, add mounted my photographs over the top.

To finish the page I added chipboard, puffy stickers, stickers.

Big Hug

Using my first page as a starting point, I added 4 different patterned paper down the left hand side, added a punched border to two of the papers and a single machine stitched over the top.

I then added 3d form to my photograph and added various patterned papers from the 6×8 pad, at a slight angel underneath.  Before gluing down my photograph, I marked where I wanted the stencil to appear on my page and added ink using Oxide ink in Candied Apple to the word part of the stencil and added black ink lines around the edge. 

For the title I used Jillibean Soup Alphabet Stickers and outlined  each letter in black to give them some additional definition.

I finished the page with chipboard, bits and pieces, stickers and puffy stickers.

Shiver me Timbers – Echo Park – Pirate Tales

For this layout I choose a different size and went with 9×12 format.

I border punched a one inch strip from the b-side of Echo Park – Pirate Tales – Pirate Ship, and cut it just short of the cardstock.  I cut a piece of b-side of Echo Park – Pirate Tales – 3×4 journalling cards, and a piece from Echo Park – Pirate Tales – Ahoy Matey paper, and 3d form underneath my photograph, and added on top of patterned papers.

I added various phases from Echo Park – Pirate Tales – Ephemera and Echo Park – Pirate Tales – Frames and Tags,

using one as my title, which I added to the bottom of the page.

Pirates

Another 9×12 page, using strips of patterned paper down the centre on my page, I added a border punch to one colour strip, and some machine stitching.

I added the photographs directly to the cardstock, added the chipboard title and piece to the page.

Always be a pirate …

OK, so this one isn’t a Disney one, but I came across these photographs on my computer when I was looking for another photograph, and just had to scrap them. James age about 7 yrs going to school in fancy dress.

I distressed the background using the packaging technique and added some stamped details.  

I added strips of patterned paper, torn at the bottom edges to the page and added some machine stitched detail to the top.

The title for this page came from the Echo Park – Pirate Tales – 6×4 journaling card, which is just perfect for these photographs.  I added various chipboard pieces around the page.
