Endless Summer by Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi Magpies, Niki here with the very beautiful Endless Summer collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. It is a summer themed collection but with a very soft colour palette rather than bold brights that we often see with summery collections. It is gorgeous.

I had two of each of the papers, the Accessory stickers, Blooms, Ephemera, Enamel Shapes, Flair Badges, puffy stickers and Woodies (wood buttons)

I made five layouts and for my first one I followed a sketch that had lots of circles so I utilised the beautiful Blooms in the collection to represent those.

For the ‘Sun Shine’ layout I’ve used a cut file (a freebie by Paper Issues) which I cut from one of the papers. I then backed each shape with different patterned papers from the Endless Summer collection and decorated each one with various embellishments.

For ‘Summer Days’ I used a stencil and mixed up some Heidi Swapp texture paste – I mixed two colours together, the gold and the pink to make rose gold which matched this collection perfectly.

For ‘Live in the Sunshine’ I painted a heart shape in watercolour paints and then embellished the outline with lots of different embellishments.

and finally, I fussy cut lots of clouds from one of the papers and stitched them in place with my sewing machine.

I’ve really enjoyed usisng this collection to make these layouts and finish off scrapping some of my summer photos. A big thumbs up for Cocoa Vanilla Studio ‘Endless Summer’ even though we’re in the middle of winter in the UK!
