Feeling Spellcast

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great October and have fitted in a spot of crafting over the month.  I had a great month as I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Disneyland Paris and immersed myself in everything Disney and Halloween.
I have started to document my trip already with a few pages that I am going to share with you this month.  I have decided to embrace the Halloween part of my trip and use themed collections to document this.  I am focusing on the Pink Paislee Spellcast collection, I would say this was a more grown up collection and does not have some of the more childish elements, but it has all of the bits you want for documenting Halloween.  A lot of the papers would work for an autumnal layout and have great seasonal elements that are not very obvious.
I am going to be documenting this trip in a 8×8 album, so have been working on making my style work in a small format, the first part of this was making my photo smaller.
Disney 1
My first layout was to create a front page for my album and I picked one of my favourite seasonal photos from the trip.  I fussy cut lots of elements from the papers and created a cluster around my photo.

I love all the muted colours in this collection and again it helps it look a bit more grown up.  I used some watercolours to help ground all the elements on the page.

I added a gold thicker font for my title, to add some seasonal sparkle.

For my second layout I created a simple cluster of fussy cut elements to ground my photos of the Haunted Manor.  I love the assortment of witches which have a bit of a Victorian feel to them.

The sticker sheets have an assortment of great images as well a number of words and phrase stickers that have used in my clusters.

For my finial layout I have document one of my favourite characters, which was out especially for Halloween.

I used a cut file which I brought from the Silhouette design store, and places this going off my page, again I added some watercolours to help ground the cut file.

I then fussy cut one of the wonderful skull elements of the papers to embellish my photos.
I really have enjoyed using this collection and am looking forward to creating more pages for this album with this collection.
I hope you have a great November and I will be back with more seasonal pages soon.
