Flutter Collection by Fancy Pants Design

Hi all,
I hope you all had a fab Easter and by now have made a big dent into the mountain of chocolate eggs you received, I know I am.
For my layouts this month, I’ve used mainly the lovely new collection from Fancy Pants Design called ‘Flutter’, I love the colour of this collection has its so joyful and vibrant and an added bonus is that the sheets are textured, and beautiful patterns on both sizes.  The other collection I dipped into are Pebbles – Homegrown and Jen Hadfield – Cottage Living.
For my first layout, I wanted to create a fun layout, of me and Julie at our DT Retreat in February in some of Nancy’s wigs.   I used the B side of  this paper, not sure you can see from this photos, but the paper has a ‘washed out’ look to it.  I added some details to the background paper using this mask and stamp set by Heidi Swapp, from the new Wanderlust collection.

To mat the photos I used two sheets from the Fancy Pants Design 6×6 pad – side by side, as well as border punched a strip to add to the top of the mat.  Then using 4 small photos across the page I added various bits and pieces from the Fancy Pants Design Ephemera and Insta Pack die cuts and added 2 of the Flair Badges, to pull it all together, finally finishing with some enamel dots, wood veneer a few splatters from Pebbles/Jen Hadfield Golden Mist.
 

The alphabet stickers are from one of Fancy Pants Designs last collection called “Me-lology” – the colours matched perfectly with this collection.
 
For my 2nd layout  – a very simple and quick(es) layout to put together, using the 6×6 pad, choose a couple of the papers and cut into square and adhere to the cardstock, and again using bits and pieces from the emphera and insta pack die cuts around the page.

 
I also added some Simple Stories – Life Documented – Photo Stickers and Word Strip Stickers.
 

I use one of the frame that came in the pack, has part of my embellishment at the top of the page,layering it with some other bits from the Fancy Pants Design Insta Pack  pack.  To finish off I sprinkled some of the Pebble/ Jen Hadfield – Golden Mist  and some Heidi Swapp – Blush Colour Shine Spritz across the page.
My final layout this month, I used Pebbles – Homegrown and  Jen Hatfield Cottage Living.  when I saw this paper  called ‘Family Rules’ I knew I wanted to cut apart the words and use them for a layout.
 

The photo is matted on paper from Fancy Pants Design – 6×6 pad, with a strip of this paper  from Pebbles – Cottage Living collection at the bottom of the page.  Another easy to put together layout, finishing off with enamel dots, wood veneer shapes and some splatters from Pebbles/ Jan Hadfield Golden Mist.
 

I also added some stamped words from this Studio L2E set – called Right here Right Now.
 

 
Under some of the word strips I added American Craft 3D foam adhesive tabs, these are 3mm high and give a good dimension to the word strips.
