Getting Fresh with Pinkfresh Studio

Hi Magpies, Julie back again today & showing you 3 layouts I’ve made using all 3 of the lovely new collections from Pinkfresh Studio, A Case of the Blahs, Let your heart decide & The Mix 2, I also used the gorgeous rose gold puffy alphabet stickers from the Be You collection.
I love the freshness that Pinkfresh Studio bring with their collections & that you can layer up loads of embellishments or keep it really clean & simple, suits both styles equally.
On my first layout ‘Carefree Days’ I did some stamping, with lots of circles, in different colour inks & a few text stamps & then layered a piece of vellum over the top, softening the stamping & giving it a muted effect. I sewed around the edge to adhere it on. I added my photo behind one of the ‘let your heart decide’ stitched frames & then added all my embellishments coming down the page from top left to bottom right sewing a few bits of black stitching to add some texture, & a couple of the tassel bows, which are just so cute.

For my second layout ‘ Keeping it Real’ I choose some crazy snapchat photos of myself & fellow team mate Jackie, we love taking these photos & seeing what new filters are available & bonus…. More photos to scrap. On this page I used ‘Meh’ paper from a case of the blahs as my background adding a bit of acrylic paint, in a bright yellow & some stamped circles, texture paste & splatters. I then used an abundance of the ephemera from all 3 collections, & I can tell you I had loads to work with as those embellishment packs are full to bursting, great value.

I think my last page ‘Beauty’ has to be my favourite out the 3. It’s very different for me but I love how it turned out. When I first saw the background paper ‘Escapade’ I just knew I wanted to stitch around all the squares & at first I was going with the yellow side but changed my mind & went with the green. I added a few gold splatters & another stitched frame over my photo & then added all the flowers & foliage I could find from each collection, die cut ephemera packs, wood veneer & puffy stickers & made clusters with them around my page. My title come from the beautiful rose gold puffy alphabet stickers & I finished the page with a few sewn, hanging hearts.

I hope you like what I’ve done with these collections & you’ll take a peak in the store to see all the new goodies
Until next time, xoxo
