#Happy and More!
Hi Magpies,
Julie back with you again today, and this month, I have made three layouts using three different collections from the store.
My first layout, ‘Ice Cream Thief’, is using the new Elle’s Studio Collection – Let’s Eat.I used a white piece of cardstock as my base, and started off by drawing several circles on it using my mists and adding a few splatters. I added some Texture Paste through a stencil, and sewed around the circles a few times. I then added some strips to the top and bottom of the page using Meal Planner and Five Stars papers, and sewed them down adding a few bits of washi. I made a paper mat using Five Stars, Meal Planner and This & That, then added a bit of vellum before my photo. I added a few bits of Ephemera from the Bits & Pieces pack, and sprinkled them from the top left to the bottom right of the page, adding a bit of stitching to give it some texture. I finished it off with a few Studio Calico Seven Paper – Baxter – Tiny Phrase Stickers – Dog and a Seven Paper Baxter – Wood Veneer Shapes – Dog.
My second layout is using the lovely These are the Days Collection from Webster Pages, which is what I decided to entitled my layout. It’s a lovely collection that has a different paper for each month, having cut apart elements on one side and an ombre effect (in the same colour), on the other. I used the March and April papers, and cut them all apart ready to layer up on my layout. For my background, I used the Essentials Arrows Paper, and using the plastic packaging technique I smooshed some Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists onto the background, and then added some Texture Paste in Gold. I punched some borders out of the cut apart pieces and layered them together vertically down the left hand side of the page, adding my photo cluster on top. I cut some of the small elements off the papers and added those, along with some punched out clouds. I also added a few stickers from the Tags & Prompts and Words sheets, and also three paperclips. I finished it off with some Seven Paper Amelia – Gold Glitter Hearts and my title is using Elle’s Studio – Let’s Eat Letter & Number Stickers – Teal, and a little bit of sewing.
My final layout ‘You Shine’, is again using Websters Pages, but this time I used #Happy. It’s a beautiful collection, which as the title implies, has very happy, lovely colours, and is all about celebrations. For my background I used Dancing, a beautiful pink bokah paper and added some Gold Texture Paste through a stencil. I then cut out three different sized light bulbs on my silhouette, and back them with Classy, Stargazing and some Crate Paper – Maggies Holmes Confetti – Make a Wish Gold Foil Vellum. I stuck those down across the page and made a photo cluster using Storyteller #2 and Good Stuff, and added some stickers from the Alphas & Shapes 12×12, Sentiments and Words sticker sheets. I found some lightbulbs in the Amytan Rise and Shine Gold Paperclips, which went perfectly. I finished it off with a vellum bow and a few Heidi Swapp – Gold Foil Chipboard Shapes, and some gold sequins.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my pages this month, and go and check out these great collections in the shop!
Until next time,
