Interactive book!

Hi!

For this month I wanted to make something with a brand I’ve never used before! Just to feel the quality and to boost my creativity! Bella Blvd has a lot of different collections out now. I chose to work with the two baby collections and one Zoo-collection. When I made my order I already knew that I wanted to make an interactive book for toddlers (like the one I made previously – Honey, I’m Home). So I bought all the die cuts and papers that would work as backgrounds. To make it a bit more interesting I chose some photo realistic papers from Webster’s Pages.
All the pages and all the bits are laminated. Everything is very shiny and super difficult to photograph. I made my best! 😀
I used an old paper from Shimelle for the front page. I had run out of papers… (Note to self: Buy more papers!).

The pages:

The first page is the little truck with the tiger and two wagons. I modified the wagons a bit… with more animals. Some clouds and a tree completed the background for this scen.

A little train… I made another page with the pink locomotive… but I ruined it while I laminated it! Very sad… but this page turned out better than the other. I cut the grass with my Silhouette Cameo and added some flowers. I added animals to these wagons too… You can’t have a train with empty wagons, can you?! 😀
Here you can see how the velcro works. Small, self adhesive dots… works amazing for this.

Elephant in the desert… yepp… I had a hard time finding enough animals for every scen. So here we have some kind of Australian land with an pink elephant.
It really looks like a hot desert with the sun paper from Webster’s pages. I really like the mix of photo realistic papers with the cartoon styled animals!

The last scen is even more interesting when it comes to animals… A penguin, a seal and an crocodile… and the crocodile has some goat feed to lure them to his island! I used up almost every animal in three sets of die cuts! The animals with patterns on them didn’t fit the scens… so I saved them for other projects.

… if you don’t like where the animals are… you can always move them to another page and scen! A seal in a tree works just fine! 😀
The animals in these collections are sooo cute! Love them! And I love the clouds, especially the ones on this page!

Two birthday cards!

I had some animals left. These ones didn’t fit in any scen… so they ended up on two birthday cards. One card for a girl and one for a boy! I made a really easy shaker window and filled it with sequins and glitter! Shaker cards are perfect for children!

Hope you feel inspired! If you make a similar interactive book, please let me know!  I would love to see it!
