It's mini album time…
After seeing mini albums everywhere at the moment, I wanted to make one of my own. And after searching through the website I finally decided that the Fancy Pants Dream Big line. I am normally drawn towards bright colours but this one looked just to beautiful to pass up and I thought it would be a good match to the album that I wanted to make.
Look at this!
I added in the matching die cuts as well as I find them very useful when making off the page stuff like this. I also added in some Nuvo Drops some Ellies Studio Letters in white ( my aim is to have all of these letters as they are just perfect ) and then I added in the black heart washi tape…which is just the most perfect washi tape I own! The last thing I added into my design box this month was this woodgrain card stock… which I need about 20 sheets of as it is just gorgeous!
Okay…so on to my mini album. After searching different websites and trying different things I settled on a tag album…and here is what I made.
The Front cover.
I added some rings into the bottoms of all the envelopes to keep it all together. I cut the mini album on my Cameo and added an extra panel on the front of each one. I wanted each edge to be sewn on and adding the paper on top made it easier to do that. I think the die cut on this front envelope is my favourite out of all the dies shapes.
Each tag inside tells the story I want to tell.
2nd Tag!
I used the tissue paper that my order came in, cut out a circle and scrunched it up to make a flower.
Each tag has told the stories that I want to remember.
I added in a few extra layers in between some of the pages…Love Love this little balloon! I used some acetate from my stash to make an extra tag.
For this added in extra I used vellum from my stash. There are also long phrases in the die cuts pack. I adhered these to some acetate and hooked them in as well.
And the last tag…
Thanks for popping today..see you next month.
