Hi Magpies, Jackie here with my 1st blogpost for this month. I decided to do a minibook of my recent trip to Paris with my crafting buddies. I choose the lovely Pebbles – Jen Hadfield – Chasing Adventures collection and used one of the fab Simple Stories 6×8 mini albums and page protectors .
I kept the design of my album simple and only added a few embellishments as I wanted to finish the album quickly, but I did decided to add a stamped camera and wood veneer stars on each page. Apologies for the glare that the page protectors have made.
I mainly used Jen Hadfield – Chasing Adventure – 6×8 pad, As the pad was 6×8 size, the pages came together quickly.
For my covering page I kept the design simple and added a Elle’s Studio Gold Acrylic ‘2019’ , with the page behind being a photographs of our cases
Throughout the album I added various labels tags from Elle’s Studio either as an extra layer or to add some handwritten journalling.
My album as various page protectors in, but I have kept to the simple format – label punched from patterned paper, white tag with stamped camera.
I had some 6×4 page protectors in my stash so added a few into the album.
This is on the back of the above photographs – and yes, its twin toilets – why! I do not know but of course I had to take a photograph of it.
This is how it appears in my album, it just adds some more interest to the whole album.
One of the 2 x 6×4 page protector was next, adding some ephemera from the collection.
I die cut some tags for a Paris metro map I brought back with me, and added these to several of the pages throughout the album.
I will be sharing a few more pages of my album later in the month, as well as showing you how I added my journalling, again in various format.
Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you will share your layouts over on our Facebook page and join in with this months challenge.
Till next time
