Jen Hadfield – Everyday
Hi!
I really love to work with collections I normally don’t pick. I’ve had my eyes on the collection from Jen Hadfield called Everyday! I really liked her collection a few years ago… but I haven’t bought anything from her since then!
The collection Everyday has some really interesting pieces. Like the booklet with ampersand stickers, the rhinestones and the ephemera! I also liked all the papers with bold patterns… especially the florals. Papers that works both as they are and as decoration (after some fussy cutting) are my absolute favorite!
Another thing I absolutely love are woodgrain pattern on papers. Simple Stories release a whole bunch of great woodgrain papers! I love them all! They are absolutely perfect as background for layouts!
Love you to the moon & back
For my first layout I used a woodgrain paper from Simple Stories. The butterflies are from a paper from Maggie Holmes – Bloom! I tried to match the combination of yellow and pink in the photo.
… & you make me so happy
Another layout with woodgrain as background. Here I’ve also used the backside of a woodgrain paper, a little piece of dark blue paper from Shimelle and some bits of papers from Everyday! The booklet with ampersands are so great… it also contains small flowers and all the bits are just perfectly puffy.
A little mini album!
I got some flowers from work for my birthday and wanted to give them a “thank you” gift back. I took some photos of the flowers and decided to make a very small mini album. I used papers from Everyday and also some papers from Dear Lizzy – Happy Place. A lot of the decorations are from Everyday… but I also sneaked in some bits from Maggie Holmes. I really like when several collections works together!
