Jillibean Soup – Mushroom Medley

Hello Magpies, Jackie here to share my layouts for this month.  I’ve used the wonderful collection from Jillibean Soup called Mushroom Medley
For my first layout, I decided to use photos from a few years ago of one of our many walks thought the woods in Norfolk.  This layout came together really quickly, for the background I used Jillibean Soup – Morels Paper and a 5 inch stripe of Jillibean Soup – Girolles Paper.  i mounted the photographs onto some Jillibean Soup – Chanterelles paper and a piece of green paper from my stash, both photographs have been raised using 3d foam.

For my journalling I used the journalling card from the cut a part sheet – Jillibean Soup – Bite Size Bits Paper

and I also cut the sign from the cut-a-part sheet and added 3d foam to the back to give is some dimension from the page.

I used mini stickers from the Jillibean Soup – cardstock sticker  sheet  and added some Nuvo Crystal drops – which are my current favourite and if you’ve not tried them yet – you need to.

To finish the layouts I added the title using some wood effect thickers from my stash, which I stitched down to give the layout some more texture.

For my 2nd layout, I found this photographs of myself taken in 2008 when I visited Hatton Country World with friends, the kids where having so much fun on the zip wire I just had to have a go.

I used stripes from the B-side of Jillibean Soup – Girolles Paper, b-side of Jillibean Soup – Chanterelles Paper, and the A-side of Jillibean Soup – Trompettes de Mort Paper, I ripped down the side of the paper and layered onto on my cardstock that I had added some distress ink splatters to the back.
I used another card from the Jillibean Soup – cut-a-part sheet as my title.

I also added some wood veneer to my clustered areas from the same collection – Jillibean Soup – Printed Wood Veneer Words – -Today and used some of the stickers from the sticker sheet. and to finish the page off with some Nuvo Cyrstal Drops.
For my last layout this month, Be Awesome, I used mainly the left over papers from the above two layouts.

I used Jillibean Soup – Mushroom Medley – Oyster Paper b-side as the background, which I distressed.  I then did a simple layered background and added my photograph on top.
