Life Noted from Pinkfresh Studio

Every now and then a collection comes along that turns out to be the perfect fit – Life Noted from Pinkfresh Studio is just such a collection. I had great fun using it last month – so much so, that I wanted to use it again this month besides I had lots leftover .
The colours are fresh without being too glaring and soft enough without being too pastel if you know what I mean. The embellishments are also very versatile and can fit most occasions.

The Checker Board Paper lent itself to being cut apart and re-assembled. I used a graphic frame border which I cut out in black and filled in the frames with different coloured squares from the patterned paper. To echo the framed look, I also die-cut an assortment of frames in white and layered those below with just one simple photo , also framed in black to echo the border above. Simple, quick and easy – my kinda scrapping ( she lied !). I actually take forever to put a layout together as my cropping friends will testify to – not the actual assembling but the thinking time before I even pick up a pair of scissors !

I love the stamps that come with the collection – you can smatter them across a page to add little accents here and there. There is a funny story to the choux bun pictured – hence the phrase ‘ Little Stories ‘ but I’d have needed a couple of pages to tell it ! I’m hoping I remember what it is in years to come – I’m sure I will !!

I adored the Acetate Die Cut Words in this collection and think I must have used every single one ( apart from ‘meh’ perhaps ! ) . I splurged on this layout and used about half a pack but it feels good sometimes to finish off an entire embellishment pack. I complemented these with an assortment of the Foil Stamped Wood Stickers and the Gold Accent Chipboard Stickers also from the Life Noted collection. It makes a really colourful display when you intersperse them between your photos and because there are so many colours to choose from you don’t need to go to the bother of trying to match your photos – they’re just a riot of a rainbow and incidentally those flowers at the market really were that colour no photoshop required !

Just look at that Gold Foiled Epoxy Sticker – love how it sparkles .. and a few more teeny stamped phrases from the stamp set.

My go to colour is always turquoise and this collection doesn’t disappoint. I used the Pascal Paper as the background and kept up with the square theme by adding some cut out squares from the patterned papers. The patterned paper has a lovely soft washed ombre effect from top to bottom. I saved the acetate die-cut ‘Capture for this page which is thread through a couple of black square frames .

And I also saved that adorable foil stamped wood sticker for this layout too.

So … three more layouts from the Pinkfresh Studio Life Noted collection and I still have heaps left from the collection pack. I can’t wait to see what they release next – their designs are right on my wavelength.
