Live Laugh Love

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 3 layouts using the lovely new collection ‘live, laugh, love, by Elle’s Studio. I love Elle’s Studio for it’s primary colours & fab embellishment packs, great for my style of scrapping.
For my first layout ‘Fun’ I first stamped a piece of white cardstock, using the words live, laugh, love, down the left hand side. I then cut the woodgrain paper into 2, at an angle, & distressed the edges. I added 8 eyelets (a blast from the past) & stuck the paper onto the cardstock, leaving a gap in the middle. I added some torn paper, from the 6×6 paper pad & lace, gauze & bobble trim to the 2 edges. The other edges, of the woodgrain paper, I sewed down. I added some bakers twine into the eyelets & laced it up & curled the rest towards the top & added a flair badge. I added my photos on a paper matt, down in the bottom left, adding some pieces from the bits & pieces die cuts & puffy stickers. I added another cluster at the top right & this time added a wood veneer shape. The title is a freckled fawn wood chip word, which I embossed in gold & I also added a freckled fawn long arrow paperclip.

For my second layout I wanted to use the fab acrylic ‘live, laugh, love piece so decided to scrap this mad snapchat photo of me. Again I used a piece of white cardstock but this time I added some yellow acrylic paint, using a brayer & once that was dry I added some texture paste, through a dot stencil & then drew small circles in black. I made a photo matt with papers from the 6×6 pad & then clustered all the cut apart word labels & die cuts to the left of my photo. To break up all the straight lines I die cut some small messy circles, hearts & flowers out of paper in the 6×6 pad & added those around the page. I sewed a messy border around my photo & papers & finished the layout with some stamping & a few puffy stickers.

My final layout is using a cut file. I found this quote ‘ you are a rainbow of possibilities’ on pinterest so went looking for a rainbow cut file. I backed this with papers from the 6×6 pad loosely keeping to rainbow colours, yes I did google it!!!! I again chose a piece of white cardstock as my background & added some splatters to the bottom 3rd of it. I added some yellow ink, through a stencil, to make the sun’s rays & stitched along each one then positioned my cutfile on top. I used a small photo, so as not to detract from the cutfile, & added that on the right. I handcut the title using papers from the 6×6 pad & added those to the bottom. I finished my layout with a few word stickers from my stash & drew a doodly border around the whole layout.
