Hi Magpies, Julie back with you today & sharing 3 layouts using the lovely new PinkFresh Studio collection ‘Live More’. It’s full of soft muted colours of yellow, duck egg blue, orange, grey & brought to life with fab pops of rose gold.
My first layout ‘amazing, seize the day’ was done using the live more simple paper, one of the busier papers in the collection, so I decided to only use a bit of it & angled some white cardstock & a piece of coloured cardstock over the top. I inked the white cardstock & added some texture paste through a stencil & then sewed it down onto the patterned paper. I added my photo, on a mat of papers & added loads of the ephemera around the photo, puffy stickers, die cuts, epoxy paper clips, this collection has an abundance of lovely bits & pieces. My title is a cut made on the silhouette & a die cut & I finished the page with 2 hand stitched arrows
For my second layout ‘Live More’ I used the goals paper, I love these type of papers but always struggle as how to use them so I challenged myself!!! It wasn’t going to work with my usual messy style so I decided to have the title, on the left, coming down the page & giving me room for my photos on the right. I hand stitched around some of the title, to help it stand out, & added inks & texture paste to the right hand side. I then chose 5 photos & laid them in a grid pattern, down the page, adding in bits of ephemera to each photo. The word & phrase stickers were just perfect for this layout, saying things like ‘let’s have some fun’ & ‘if you want to be happy, be’ it’s like they were made for it.
For my final layout I went back to what I love, getting messy & added lots of inks, texture paste, splatters, stitching & stamps to the background before making up 2 photo clusters. I added lots of bits from the collection with added stuff from my stash, burlap, old clothing tags, lace, etc. I’m a collector of all little bits & bobs & love adding them to my pages & in that sense you could definitely call me a magpie. My title is one of the new acrylic words from Bella Blvd, which are gorgeous & the puffy alphabet stickers from PinkFresh Studio.
I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my layouts today as much as I enjoyed making them, until next time xoxo
