Love is in the air

It’s wedding season again and I am still scrapping the last two weddings I went to, before I can even think about this years!
I’ve been playing with the gorgeous Simple stories Story Of Us range
which I instantly fell in love with, they are just so stylish!
My first layout shows my handsome son and his gorgeous bride sharing their first kiss as husband and wife!

I wanted to keep this one fairly simple to keep the focus on the photo.
The arrows on the paper and the doodles down either side helping to draw the eye around the page and firmly back to the focal point.
I love the confetti paper and cut out a few extra bits to add some dimension.
 

My second layout shows the happy couple posing on the steps of a local park,
which bears the legend ‘since knowing you I smile’, which I copied and added in the background.
I chose the Always and forever paper for the background as it reminded me of the steps in the photo
and the addition of lots of bling helped to lift the greyness of the page.

and my final layout shows my adorable granddaughter and her lovely friend, sharing a touching moment.
These are the sort of shots normally overlooked when capturing the wedding day
and we were exceptionally fortunate to  have found such a wonderful photographer who missed nothing of the special day!
To soften the background I used Mr Hueys mist  over the Theresa Collins scallop mask
I also added some Basic grey highline awesome paper which I thought made a lovely contrast to the blacks in the Simple storys range.
