Mixing my favorite brands!

Hello! Hi!

It’s time for me, Ida, again! And this time is I’m back with project life spreads… aaaaaand my favorite brands! As I said in my last post… inspiration is low right now. Don’t know why… a lot of the new products are amazing… but I don’t get any kicks (yet)! Still waiting! 😀
This blog post shows a few single PL-pages… that is because they belong together with the LO’s I made for another blog post…

Week 12

Crate Paper is my absolute favorite brand! Right now I love everything they do! And Maggie Holmes has always been a favorite designer. It’s so nice to be able to buy new items and match them with stuff you have at home. I have a lot of old PL-cards from Maggie Holmes… and of course… they match perfectly with the new lines from Crate Paper!
Week 12 was Easter and I tried to use up all the rabbits from the ephemera pack! 😀

Week 11 – A full week!

For this spread I also mixed in some old PL-cards. My go-to item for this year is the small phrase stickers. They fit everywhere… and you can’t use too many! 😀 I use phrase stickers on almost every spread. They are so perfect and I think I need to hoard some… 😀

Week 13

Different pieces of kraft paper. I used some white Color Shine from Heidi Swapp to make it a bit messy. The plus sign is a trendy shape right now… and almost all thickers sheets got some plus signs… perfect to use on a spread!

Week 14

Lets buy a bike to match all those decorations with bikes! 😀
For this spread I made a PL-side and a matching LO. The PL cards are from cut apart sheets from Crate Paper’s Journey and from Confetti. The “bike decoration” covers almost the whole PL card… so I cut away some of the paper behind it and used it as embellishments on the photos. A trick many use when they do LO’s…

On this easy LO I focused on the backside of the pretty paper Thrifty Paper from Craft Market. I cut it open around the washi tape pattern and tucked my photo in under it. And then I used some squared embellishments and sewed it all down..

… and one final LO

I can’t take straight pictures… so my LO’s looks crocked… it’s not! 😀
Here I used another favorite brand and designer, Amy Tangerine! I matched the backside of the “Hooray Paper” from Maggie Holmes Confetti with stickers and epoxy decorations from Amy. It is almost exactly the same pink and orange!
I tend to match white with cream these days. The decorations from Amy are with white  and my cardstock is white… but the paper from Maggie is  a bit cream… I think it works anyway!
