I’m back with more loveliness from Pinkfresh Studio’s Everyday Musings collection. I can’t get enough of this company’s products, it really suits my type of scrapbooking! And the papers are really good quality, they’re quite a bit thicker than most papers.
My first layout today uses a few of the many cute frames included in the collection.
To start I placed my photo in a frame that I cut myself from the pale green paper, as it was too big for any of the Pinkfresh ones. Then I started to add the other frames around it until I thought they looked well balanced and stuck them down once I was happy with the arrangement. I left some of them empty to show the pretty background paper which was far too nice to cut up!
Then it was simply a case of adding puffy stickers and other embellishments from the collection to the frames, some inside and some outside for a bit of variety.
I used some American Crafts Thickers for the title. I added the circle embellishment to the bottom of the layout because it looked a bit empty without it, added a word sticker and cute puffy flower.
For the second layout I coloured and stamped on a plain background. I haven’t ventured very far into the world of mixed media although I am being persuaded to go in that direction by all the lovely the products that are now available! I used yellow spray ink and pale green for the stamping to go with the colours in my photo.
I added my photo and tucked some pieces of patterned paper behind it. There are so many labels, tags and stickers in this collection that I had no problem adding some of them around the photo to embellish it. And I still have lots left for other layouts.
The title is included in the ephemera pack and it’s actually gold, which unfortunately doesn’t show up too well in this photo, so you’ll have to take my word for it!
Finally, I fussy cut a little bird and a watering can from one of the papers, then added some flowery puffy stickers and a phrase sticker alongside the title.
If, like me, you’re a fan of clean and simple scrapbooking then this is the collection for you.
Until next time, happy scrapping!
