Hi Magpies, Julie back again with more layouts using the lovely Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours Collection.

Been There Series

I’ve been collecting these mugs for some time now. Whenever I go to a new city, it’s a must to pop into a Starbucks store to pick one up & the Office Hours collection gave me the perfect opportunity to document them.

I started by adding the map stencil on the background, using oxide inks, blending the colours across the stencil.

I added a few coffee ring stain stamps & added my photos in a loose grid around the page, adding tone on tone embellishments to each photo cluster, even making use of the box one of the mugs came in & a coffee collar from Starbucks.

Document life

I chose to go completely different for my second layout & was inspired by the Dreams Paper. I cut out 3 circles, from the paper, & they set the tone for the colour scheme & theme of the page. I went with a 9×12 page & added some mixed media to the background using oxide inks, stamps & a stitched rectangle.

I stamped 3 messy circles down the page & added my punched circles, on top, distressing the edges first.

I then die cut some leaves from white cardstock & fun foam & added those to my photo matt & centre circle, the title comes from an exclusive flair badge from Hey Little Magpie.
