Hey Little Magpie Blog

Pretty Little Studio as arrived …

Hi Magpie, Jackie here, with a quick blogpost using the lovely new collections from Pretty Little Studio.

This is a new manufacturer to the store, and currently there are 4 fabulous ranges to choose from. Each range is jammed packed with yumminess (is that a word … if not … if could be – lol x).

Tales & Dreams

Feels Like Fall

Potpourri

Winter Joy

There is not only 6×6 papers, but there are flair badges, frames, tabs, tags, die cuts, clear stickers, word stickers, labels and so much more.

At a recent retreat, both myself and Julie were fortunate to get our hand on some of the products, and we couldn’t resist getting struck in and producing some layouts.

Love This by Julie Taylor

Julie started her layout by using the b-side of the lovely paper from Maggie Holmes Carousel – Radiant paper, and cutting it apart to form a grid effect, which also formed her title as well as placements for some of her photographs.

Accompanying these cut apart letter she added frame, clear stickers, die cut shapes and tabs.

For this layout she used the Pretty Little Studio – Potpourri collection, and as you can see from the close up they have some lovely die cuts.  For her title she used one of the Dear Lizzy – Star Gazer – Large Chipboard Words, and coloured it to co-ordinate with the colours from this collection.

Awesome – Love you by Jackie

I kept my layout simply and used the Pretty Little Studio – Tales and Dreams Collection, layering a few sheets of the patterned paper under my photographs, and added some of the frames, tabs, wood veneers and word strips.

The title was from the die cut pack from the same collection.

These are great new collections to work with and as each collection as an abundance of embellishments you will be spoilt for choice which ones to get.

Don’t forget to share you layouts on our Facebook page we would love to see them.
