Product challenge for National Scrapbooking day!

Afternoon everyone! Wendy here for my first ever Hey little Magpie post! I am really excited to be here and even better that it coincides with a fun scrapbooking weekend!

Welcome to my challenge for this weekend!

I collect scrapbooking products….I am pretty sure I am not the only person here to do that! I collect paper, stickers, alphabets…you get the idea. I also collect products that are pretty and I love them, but don’t ever use them. Do you do that? For an example I collect chipboard…love it…it is so pretty, but I really struggle to use it.

I also collect washi tape. I am ashamed how many tapes I have that I have collected over the last few years…yet I never use them. Like Chipboard I find them hard to use. And I really don’t know why.

My challenge for you is to hunt through your stash and pull out those products that you are hoarding and put them on a page. Use them up!

Here is my page that I made using chipboard and washi tape!

I made myself use the chipboard and the washi tape on this page. I used the washi tape to adhere the paper that is underneath all the embellishments.

The idea being that you will see little parts of the washi tape peeking out through the rest of the layout.

I used a chipboard frame  and the ‘Love you for ever ‘ from the Pink Paislee Fancy Free Line

Now this may not seem much to use, but for me it was really hard! I found that putting the products that I didn’t really like to use on the page first and then building the page around it helped.

So…jump into your stash and find those products that you struggle with..and let us know how you used them!

Don’t forget to upload your challenge layout on the FB group to be in with a chance to win 1000 Magpie points – that is  £10!

Every entry gets you a chance to win and be in with a chance of the overall prize of 3000 Magpie points, that is £30…think of what you could buy with that!
You can enter every challenge as many times as you like
You have a week to enter, as the challenges close at midnight on 14th May.
