Wander with My Minds Eye.

Hi there Magpies x  Sheena here again.
This month whilst looking in the shop I spotted a range that I had overlooked before. Wander by My Minds Eye. It has an out door, travel type theme to it so I thought it would be right up my street.
To be honest when it arrived I was not so sure it was for me as it felt very green! but once I started to cut into it I enjoyed working with the papers and made 3 layouts to share with you.
Upgraded.

I loved this MME Wander cloud patterned paper so used it as a background for my first page. I wanted to record the story of our recent upgrade on a long haul flight and the stars, clouds, bags and plane motifs were all perfect for this page.

I added hand stitched lines in white thread behind the planes to give the idea of movement. I clustered the bags around a journalling card in the opposite corner to hold my title and a little journaling.

For my next page I was inspired by the transport elements in this kit and thought this photo of my Husband on a bicycle rickshaw would fit the bill.
Trip.

Again I used a MME Wander 12×12 patterned paper as my background then added a centre panel made up of 2 papers from the Wander 6×6 pad. To this I added Wander journalling cards as a base for my photo.

I then clustered a selection of die cuts, chipboard, puffy stickers and brads at either end of the strip.
My title came from the Wander die cut pack and added stitching down the centre of each letter to add texture.

For my last page I decided to add some pink to all the shades of green.
Monet’s Garden.

I added 3 strips of torn Wander patterned paper to the top of a 12×12 sheet of white cardstock. Then added Pickled Raspberry distress oxide ink to the centre of the cardstock before layering up some papers from the Wander 6×6 paper pad under my photographs.

I cut my title on the Silhouette cameo and backfilled the larger word with different papers from the Wander 6×6 paper pad before adding to the layout on foam dots. The page was finished with die cut trees, word stickers & puffy arrows.

Sometimes its worth having a really good look in the Hey Little Magpie shop you never know what little gems you may discover.
Till next time x
