Hi there x Sheena here again.
I’ve always been a fan of Cocoa Vanilla Studios paper ranges and their Wild at Heart range is no exception. The colour ways in this range particularly appeal to me & I think you agree too as it flies off the shelves at the shop.
For the two pages I’m sharing with you I’ve turned to the B sides of the Wild at Heart papers as I find them just as perfect as the fronts.
Recently I visited Paris with Sam & Jackie & got to see Monet’s Waterlilies in their purpose built museum.
The B side of the Wild at Heart, Mariposa paper is a perfect compliment with its watercolour feel. I added a lacy die cut over as not to hide the background paper then layered my photo on complimentarily papers from the Wild at Heart range.
I clustered ephemera, chipboard, flair & stickers on the edge of the photo before adding my title from the chipboard sheet and wood veneer heats randomly.
For my second page I wanted to include multiple photos from a day trip to Chatsworth so thought the Wild at Heart chipboard frames would be a perfect accompaniment.
There are so many frames in the pack that I just picked out the ones I thought complimented the B side of the Wild at Heart Luscious paper.
To document our day I used 3 photos and seven frames but I feel the page still has a spacious feel. I added my journaling into one using a journalling card from the cut apart sheet. Plus I added some stitching to the word strips and butterfly for extra texture before embellishing with the rubber charms.
If you managed to get your hands on this gorgeous range we would love to see what you created over on our Facebook group.
Till next time.
