Wildflower

Hi everyone!

It’s time for some layouts and project life from me, Ida, again! For this month I focused on the collection Wildflower from WRMK. I have never bought a collection from WRMK before. But this one is different! I knew right away that it would be perfect together with papers from Maggie Holmes and all the other papers with water color designs. Like Documentary – Fancy Free from Dear Lizzy.
My three favorites from the Wildflower collection are the word thickers, the cut apart sheet and the wildflower paper (… out of stock  now, but you can find it in a smaller size in the 6*6 paper pad). The ephemera and the sticker sheet is also great products.

A hug & a kiss

The collection Wildflower works perfectly together with papers from Maggie Holmes. After this layout I only had a few flowers left from the ephemera pack! I always use up all the flowers in a collection first! Flowers are so easy to fit into a layout and they always work together with photos (no matter the motive).
Here’s a photo of my daughter strangling a cat… nahh… she is hugging it. The cat survived and I got a nice photo of my child’s love for animals. Tough love! 😀
These are the last pieces I have left of the Maggie Holmes collection. I ordered some more! It will work perfectly together with the new collection, Shine… and you can’t have too many papers! 😀
The absolute perfect ampersand is from the adorable word thickers sheet and the letter thickers are old ones from Amy Tangerine.

You

Here I did some fussy cutting on the Wildflower paper (out of stock now). I love to do that on papers with flowers. You get so many great flowers to use as decorations! You can do the same with the Botanical Paper, Butterfly Garden Paper and backside of the Road Trip Paper.
The part with the text is from the cut apart sheet. It’s a bit too big to use in a project life pocket… but perfect for a layout. The background paper is Documentary – Fancy Free from Dear Lizzy. I saved the extra bottom strip (what’s it called?) and added some strips from the cut apart sheet. I also added some stickers and die cuts from the ephemera pack…. and some sequins.

PL pages

For this page I used some old PL cards from my stash (I have too many PL cards!). It’s fun to see a dark blue in a collection again. I’ve missed it! 😀
I loved all the phrases in Wildflower. They where perfect for our summer… a summer that didn’t worked with pineapples and flamingos and other tropical things! 😀 Wildflower was a perfect match for us! Always try to find collections that works with the theme of your photos. That way you will be able to use much more of the decorations and phrases!
… but I struggle with some of the phrases in Wildflower too… like “Wild & Free”… nahhh… I will save some of those decorations for later! 😀

As I said… Wildflower works perfectly together with papers from Maggie Holmes… it also works together with the new core kit Maggie Holmes – Open Book. I also used some decorations from old Maggie Holmes collections and from her newest one, Confetti. For the whole spread I focused on butterflies. I think I used up almost every butterfly in the ephemera pack!
